Dr. Penny joined Children's Medical Group in 2008.  She is a native of Port Gibson, MS and received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2000.  Dr. Penny obtained her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2004.  She received her Pediatric training at the University of California, Davis where she served as Chief Resident following her training.  Dr. Penny is married with two children and enjoys exercising and playing bridge in her spare time.
