Dr. Ellison joined the Children’s Medical Group in 1993. He was born in San Francisco, but his family has been long time residents of Mississippi. Dr. Ellison did his undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi, San Francisco State University, and the University of Malta. In undergraduate he was on the Ole Miss Swim team and also was in the Glee Club. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1990. Dr. Ellison obtained his Pediatric training at Vanderbilt University Hospital. Dr. Ellison is married with 4 children and enjoys tennis, basketball, spectator sports and playing with his children.
