Q. What if my child becomes ill while the office is closed?
A. For life-threatening emergencies, please call 911. For all urgent medical needs, please call our office at 601-362-8776. After normal office and after hours, calls will be forwarded to the after-hours triage support team.

Q. Are you accepting new patients?
A. Yes. Please call one of our offices in Jackson, Clinton or Madison.

Q. Do you accept walk-ins?
A. We see patients by appointment only. This allows us to serve you and all of our patients better because it allows us to keep wait times to a minimum. While we do not see walk-ins, you should have no problem getting an appointment the same day you call. (See the next question).

Q. How long do I have to wait to get an appointment?
A. In most cases, you can be seen the day you call if needed. At times we may have to limit the number of well-child visits so that we can see the sick children that need to be seen.

Q. What age patients do you see?
A. We see newborns to 18 year olds.

Q. Do you call-in prescriptions for antibiotics and other medicines?
A. We believe that it is important to minimize the use of antibiotics; therefore we almost never prescribe them without examining the patient first. For chronically used medications we will call-in refills, but routinely re-evaluate all patients on long-term medication every six months or as dictated by the physician. If possible, refill requests should be directed to the prescribing physician. A Prescription Refill Request form online is available on this website for your convenience.
